Digital video offers an excellent hands-on learning opportunity, similar to Lego robotics in its scope and impact.  It builds on existing technology infrastructure (laptops, cameras, high speed internet), offering kids the opportunity to express themselves in new ways.

Digital video seems to work best when the content is concise, the message clear, and the emphasis is on communicating simply and effectively, as illustrated in the sample clips on the following web pages.

Reaching a Wider Audience

In our view, the preferred means of distributing digital video should be via the internet, thereby reaching a large and diverse audience.
